Summer Reading starts June 2

Explore and Imagine Summer! Summer Reading promotes reading and offers great prizes and fun events for kids of all ages. Early registration opens May 1.

How It Works

• Read, listen to reading, or have someone read to you everyday June 2-July 31

• Initial each day you read on your reading log

• Bring your log to the library or email weekly to enter prize drawing and choose a prize from our summer prize cart

  Click here to print a reading log or pick one up at the library

  *Typhoon Texas Child Ticket available for those that register for summer reading by June 6th and complete a June reading log

Prize Drawing Schedule

*Bring your log to the library or email by 5pm the day of the drawing

• June 13- Minecraft Kit

• June 20- Family Movie/Game Basket

• June 27- 4 SeaWorld Passes and Parking Pass

• July 3- Jubilee Pottery (1 child & 1 adult attendance)

• July 11- 2 Family Passes to Longhorn Caverns & $50 What-a-Burger Gift Card

• July 18- Bertram Family Pack (Gift Cards to Fratelli’s, Gathering Grounds, A Frozen Affair & Bertram Library Thrift Store)

• July 25- $100 Gift Card to Putters and Gutters

• July 31- $100 Gift Card to Sweet Berry Farms
